Drone pilot launching an agricultural spraying drone

For drone operators

You bought the drone. Keep it flying.

Sky Spray sends DGCA-certified pilots paid spraying jobs from farms around them. Farmers name a price per acre, the first pilot to accept gets the job, and you keep all of it: cash at the field, or a weekly UPI payout for online jobs. No commission.

Jobs near you

Requests from farms in your radius arrive as notifications with location, crop, acres, date, the farmer's price and whether it is cash or UPI. First to accept gets it.

Keep every rupee

No commission. Cash jobs are paid to you at the field before you start. Online jobs are paid out every week to your UPI ID, less only the processing fee on online payments.

Fill the gaps between seasons

Kharif in one district, rabi in the next, orchards and sugarcane year-round. The app shows demand across your travel radius.

Ratings that bring work back

Farmers rate every completed job. A strong record puts you in front of more customers in your district.

What a month of spraying earns

Operators: common questions

How much can a drone operator earn?

Farmers name the price per acre; accepted rates on Sky Spray average ₹300 to ₹600, and your own rates in your profile set the floor farmers near you see. A pilot covering 20 acres on a working day at the middle of that range grosses around ₹9,000 before batteries, fuel for the generator, travel and a helper, and every rupee of it is yours. Use the estimator above with your own numbers.

How are jobs priced?

The farmer names a price per acre when they post the field. The app will not let them go below the lowest rate operators near them charge, so set your rates honestly in your profile. You see the price, the acreage, the crop, the date and whether it is cash or UPI before you accept, and the first operator to accept gets the job.

When do I get paid?

Cash jobs: the farmer pays you at the field before sharing the start code, and nothing is owed to anyone. Online jobs: the farmer pays in the app when they accept, and you are paid out every Saturday in one UPI transfer covering all your completed online jobs, less a processing fee on online payments of 3% capped at ₹50 per job.

Do I need my own drone to join?

Yes, or access to one through an FPO, custom hiring centre or self-help group. The subsidy guide explains how those bodies get 50 to 80 percent of the cost funded.

Who supplies the chemical?

Usually the farmer. You bring the drone, batteries, water, pilot and helper. Agree it in the booking chat before the visit.

How do I get verified?

Download the app, choose the operator role at sign-up, and upload your Remote Pilot Certificate, drone UIN and ID. Verification usually completes within a few working days and your badge then shows on every request.

Is there a fee to join?

No joining fee and no commission. You work free until your earnings and booked work over a rolling 30 days reach ₹10,000; from then on you hold a subscription, from ₹29 a day or ₹299 a month, bought in the app by UPI with a GST invoice. If it lapses you still have 3 days to renew before new jobs are refused.

What is Premium?

A higher tier for operators who want the big jobs. Requests of 25 acres or more reach Premium operators 2 minutes before everyone else. ₹1,499 a month or ₹14,990 a year.
